As a company we continue to closely monitor developments with respect to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), taking guidance from the British Government and the World Health Organisation. We have been taking steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our employees including travel restrictions, reviewing business continuity plans, and working to implement visitor guidelines for those coming to our locations. External communication to our customers, suppliers and contractors is under daily review in line with our Business Continuity Plans.
We have strict hygiene practices in operation, and we have taken steps to update employees on advice from the government and reinforce preventative measures to limit the transmission of the virus. Focus has been on ensuring close attention is paid to the washing of hands and the implementation of numerous hygiene procedures.
Our Managers and Team Leaders are being updated on a regular basis and remain vigilant to staff displaying any symptoms of the virus.
To offset the consequences of individual isolation, we have taken steps to ensure that our employees can remain connected and stay productive, we have implemented capabilities for employees to work from home where ever possible, ensuring that everyone can access relevant business systems remotely and ensuring that everyone has the relevant IT equipment to work productively.
Our ongoing responsibility for the health and wellbeing of our staff does not take anything away from our commitment to providing our premium products, service and support that our customers have come to expect and we look to continue working closely with our customers to minimise any potential disruption to the continuity of supply.
We realise this current situation remains very dynamic and we are constantly evaluating and monitoring any effects and will endeavour to minimise any ramifications.
Garford Farm Machinery would like to thank all our employees, customers, suppliers and contractors for their support and cooperation as we navigate through these unprecedented times.
