Area Sales Manager for Garford Germany based at ZURN Harvesting GmbH

We produce machines for productive and sustainable agriculture. With over 160 employees at three locations, we develop and produce harvesting attachments for combine harvesters and forage harvesters, technology for mechanical weed control, as well as special machines for plant breeding. As an expanding family-owned company, we sell our products to customers worldwide.

To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) in the field (Northern Germany) for Garford Germany.

Your role:

  • A high presence in the market to support existing customers and research and establish new market opportunities for our Garford hoeing technology.
  • Demonstrate and commission technology, conduct negotiations, dealer sales support and work with the sales partner for customer quotations.

Skills:

  • Completed commercial, technical, or agricultural training/studies.
  • Commercial understanding, basic agricultural knowledge as well as a strategic forward-thinking mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to support distributors and customers.
  • Adapt to changes within a seasonal and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team and with colleagues from all departments.
  • You are confident with bringing on board new customers through empathy and a confident demeanour and can communicate well at all levels.
  • German language skills
